The Death Penalty: Right or Wrong?

So many people have different views on the death penalty.  Some think people deserve it based on the crime committed.  Others think that no matter what the crime, the death penalty shouldn’t be an option.  What do you think?  If you think it’s right, would you feel this way if your friend or family member was sentenced to death?  If you think it’s wrong and your friend or family member was killed by another person, should they be sentenced to death?  Something to think about…..Let’s discuss!

    I’m for the death penalty because certain crimes deserve this sentence because of how bad they are. Why should someone who has taken a life be able to keep theirs? Even if it does mean they stay in prison forever, they still get to live while the victim doesn’t.

    I AM AGAINST!!!

    I am more in favor of exile or limb removal! The goal is to rehabilitate. A dead inmate is not a rehabilitated inmate!
